Assalamualaikum. We went to Bali recently on 2/2/08 until 5/2/08 purely for holiday which we have planned since August 2007. We stayed at All Seasons Hotel in Legian and for a moderate rental price per night amazingly it’s a beautiful hotel. Some people said 3 days is really a short period to explore the magnificent Bali island as most of the tourist especially from Europe stay there for a week and more! But I’m glad that we did some homework before we went there and we made our itinerary which we divided our tours into 3 parts; Southern, Middle and Northern Bali. And as a result we managed to go to some of the ‘must-see’ tourist destinations such as Uluwatu, Batubulan, Tegallalang, Ubud, Kintamani, Bedugul, Taman Ayun, Tanah Lot and etc. And we also managed to get on fisherman’s boat to the middle of the ocean at Lovina beach to watch dolphins! How ‘bout that huh?
Hmm… I guess it’s true what people say about Bali…the most beautiful island in the world…and no need for me to explain why because all the pictures here speak on its own. So enjoy it!

Kebetulan my birthday just sehari selepas deepavali..and kebetulan ade kenduri to attend kat perak..so we celebrate my birthday kat Ipoh, Perak.Kebetulan pulak my sister satu family pun rupenye pegi perak jugak so bersama2 lah bercuti ngn mereka hehe. I really had fun, thank you hubby!

Eid Mubarak @ Bangalore

I celebrate eid-mubarak this year in Bangalore, jauh daripada hubby n family tercinta sob sob. Went there with my boss and a colleague for a research meeting. We only have one day to explore bangalore city as the meeting schedule was tight. If only we have more time, I would have visited the famous MYSORE huhu. xpelah, takde rezeki..It was winter..about 17-18 degree. just nice  Our hotel was just a few blocks away from St John's Medical College (meeting venue).

APCH Conference in Beijing

A few of us from medical faculty went to beijing in Nov to attend the Asian-Pacific Congress of Hypertension (APCH 07). Thank you to our dean for giving us this opportunities  .It was winter then, the temperature can reach up to -2 degree! We havent't much time to discover beijing itself as the conference schedule was pretty tight. We have to choose between shopping & sightseeing, so we decide to go sightseeing hehe. Our hotel was in the city itself, just a few blocks from Forbidden City. Here's a few pichtas!

Assalamualaikum..
Wahh sudah lama tak berupdate fotopage ni. Selalunyer Mr Adib yang rajin update mengupdate ni tapi die pun dah bz banget. Anyway, sajer nak ucapkan Selamat Berpuasa (tinggal sminggu jerk lagi) n Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri. Semoga Hari Raya pada thn ini memberi keberkatan bagi kite semua..Amin..
Hmm kepada our 1st astronouts..let us wish them good luck, semoga selamat pergi dan kembali..Our faculty is also involved in this space programme. A few of our staff dah ke Moscow since September. Tak sabar nak tunggu diorang balik, want to listen to their experience and tengok gambar hehe.
These pictures was taken in July, during the astronouts visit to our faculty-Research Lab and Biotechnology Unit. Ramai sangat orang..dengan pressnye..we're lucky sbb sempat jugak amik gambar dgn Dr Faiz Ada byk gambar tapi ni jer yang berani tunjuk..huhu

Tulips from Istanbul

It's been quite a long time since i updated my fotopages entry...well...not really. So today i just wanna share with u guys some of my photos taken during my visit to Istanbul, Turkey on 12-15 April 2007. Thanx to my wife who happens to be a research coordinator for one of her faculty dean's project under WHO which having an annual meeting there. Because the flight ticket and accommodation for my wife was fully sponsored so i just have to pay for my return flight tickets... which is quite expensive. But it's a once in a lifetime chance!
We stayed at Hyatt Regency Istanbul, located at the center of the new & modern part of Istanbul City. It's quite cold there with temperature 9 dC at night and about 12dC during day. It's a beautiful city enriched with architectural heritage and parks. Istanbul is an Islamic city so u can find halal food served everywhere...but mostly kebab...until you feel like dying eating kebab  But one thing which was not so pleasing there was their currency is higher than us...1YTL (New Turkish Lira) is equivalent to RM2.75! Even to use a public toilet we have to pay 1YTL.
There are a lot of interesting places in Istanbul which we managed to go namely Hagia Sofia, the Blue Mosque, Spice Market, The Grand Bazaar and Topkapi Palace. It's our luck to catch the breathtaking landscape of tulips everywhere because as we went there it was the Tulips Festival. We were told by the tourist guide that tulip is originated in Istanbul, which most people associate with Holland.

During Chinese New Year recently we went to Penang, actually to attend my cousin's wedding reception in Pokok Sena. So, dah alang-alang drive g sane kitorg pun extend la our stay kat sane & went to Georgetown. G Georgetown naik ferry...1st time la drive sendiri kete atas feri  At Georgetown we stayed at Berjaya Georgetown...tu je la hotel yg okay yg tinggal for a last minute booking.
1st night in Georgetown we went to the night bazaar at Batu Ferringghi (btul ke eja tu ek?) My wife got her Desperate Housewives Season 2 DVD set while I got a nice wooden yacht model for only RM50. The next morning we were planning to take a ride on the hill train up to Bukit Bendera but when we got there the queue was already at the main gate...but we just tried our luck. Then suddenly we heard an announcement saying that the ticket they were selling at the moment was for the trip at 6.00 pm! So we just cancelled our plan. But luckily during our queue there was an indian lady giving away pamphlets of the Toy Museum...so we got a new plan But since we got to that area so we went to the nearby Kek Lok Si Temple and you can just imagine the crowd 
That afternoon we went to the Toy Museum located at Tanjung Bungah...we were barely knew that there was such a museum in this country...pity us The museum houses a huge collection of miniatures and models from the all time favourite movies and cartoons, from the Limited Edition Barbie to the army miniatures and from the live-scale Gollum to the Freddie Kruger of the Nightmares on Elmstreet and so much more...even the characters from the cartoon show before you were born!
